Store Opens Aisle Just For Men

A New York supermarket is believed to be the first in the world to create an aisle to cater purely just for men.

Goods on sale on the men's aisle at the Westside Market in Manhattan include beer, condoms, beef jerky and razors.

"Initially it was a joke," store owner George Zoitas, "We were tossing around an idea about an idea about an idea about maybe making a man section with everything a man would need, whatever men buy."

He added that men typically don't like to go shopping and so the man aisle means that they can pop in and out quickly and get everything they want without the need for a list.

Shopper Andy Huber, 23, of Harlem, New York told the New York Post: "I don't like to spend much time in the grocery store, so having this aisle makes thing much easier for me."

It has been suggested that more stores will follow this example and set up their own man aisles, with Mr Zoitas planning to develop one at four other supermarkets in the near future.
